Movie Poster Collection
vol. 01
Movie Poster Collection" is a personal project, that honors and lists some classics of a specific theme. To start volume 01, I chose the theme "Childhood in the 80s".
Although I was born and raised in the 90s, my childhood was taken by the great adventures of the previous decade. I fell in love with "E.T." and "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids", got scared by Gremlins, and learned precious values about friendship with "Stand by Me" and "The Goonies".
"E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial"
is the timeless classic that has touched the hearts of generations since its release in 1982. Steven Spielberg has created a moving and magical story about friendship, empathy and connection that will continue to delight audiences for decades to come.
"Honey, I Shrunk the Kids"
is a nostalgic film that remains as entertaining and heartwarming today as it was when it was released in 1989. With an imaginative plot and charismatic characters, the film is a family-friendly comedy adventure classic.
"Gremlins"
the 80's cult classic that combines humor, horror and fantasy in a unique and memorable way. With its iconic characters and wacky creatures, this Joe Dante film is a delight for fans of the genre and a thrilling adventure for all ages.
"Stand by Me"
is an emotional and moving film that perfectly captures the essence of youth and friendship. With outstanding performances and a captivating story based on a Stephen King novel, Rob Reiner's film is a timeless treasure that continues to resonate with audiences of all ages.
"The Goonies"
is the adventure classic that retains its ability to delight and inspire adventurers of all ages. With a blend of humor, suspense and heart, this Richard Donner film is a pop culture treasure that never loses its magic.
