Rigging is an animation technique that adds movement to the character through structures that follow a hierarchy, much like the human skeleton works.Rigging is a science, because each character and art direction can be "rigged" in a different way. This process facilitates the animation of a scene, because, once the hierarchy of "bones" is created, to move the character just use its controllers.
